I've been a touring musician for most of my life, but realized in my late 30's that I really wanted to start a family. I now am raising 2 amazing children. Although I still sing, write, record and play in 3 bands, I realized that life on the road wasn’t conducive to raising a family, so I sought to reinvent myself.
Spending a good deal of time on stage, I was always immersed in the world of style and fashion. I also loved re purposing clothing and pushing the envelope in regard to my personal style.
Growing up outside of Detroit, I developed a love for thrifting and vintage fashion at a young age. I was the queen of rummage sales, and landed my first job at Penny Pincher, a resale and vintage fashion emporium, soon to be followed by a sales position at Cinderella’s Attic, one of Detroit’s hippest resale stores, at the time.
By the time I was 17 I opened my own vintage clothing store and was a regular vendor at the local flea market. I went on to study theater at Wayne State University, receiving a BFA. My theater education further developed my love for the stage, costumes and styling.
After having my son, I decided to revisit owning a resale store. In 2009, I opened Grow Kid Grow, a children’s resale boutique, in the Silver lake area of Los Angeles. I quickly found myself styling for kids, which I LOVED! But along the way, I began to style for women again, gradually realizing that this was my true passion. I sold Grow Kid Grow in 2019, so I could fully focus on what I love best- - Helping women look & feel their best!
